eight levels of measurement:

degrees.
No. 3: The device is well protected from spraying water at 60
degrees angle.
No. 4: The device is protected from splashing water from any
direction.
No. 5: The device is secured against jet stream of water from any
direction.
No. 6: The device is protected enough to be secured against intense
heavy amount of water (i.e. waves from the ocean).
No. 7: The device is secured enough to withstand short immersions in
water.
No. 8: The device is well-protected enough to handle deep and long
periods of water immersion.
